1. I am ABSOLUTELY sickened to see in Y'day's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Diamonds's "plea" for help. I am a single mother to a permantly disabled 3 year old. To make my financial ends meet because I no longer work, I adjusted my life and finances as such. Maybe Diamond needs a taste of reality, and maybe... just maybe he should think about getting a real job before asking for money from the public. Just an FYI... My son has been disabled since he was 5 months old, I quit work, and lived off my SAVINGS until about 8 months ago. Mr Diamond needs to get of his SELF CREATED PEDESTAL and GET A REAL JOB!!!!!

2. To single mother that said Dustin should get a real job.Who are you to say what someone else should and should not do. Have you put yourself in his shoes? Do you know what he is going through? Until you have walked a mile in his shoes, there is really nothing you can say. Maybe he has tried, maybe he is over qualified for the jobs he really wants. Have you ever thought about that before saying the things you just said. I understand about being a single mom. Because I am one. But if other people need my help and I can give it I will. Even if I know them or not. I don't judge because that is not my place. I also understand times are hard and sometimes you feel like things wont get better. Those are the time we need to pray and ask for help. Personally I rather see someone being creative and using what GOD gave them to earn a living. Than to start robbing people because they're depressed and feel they can't get by. Think about that.

3. I am not laying a "poor me" story out there. My feelings are that there are more important things out there than to ask for money for something material. Get a job. Bottom line, McD's is prob hiring. I've worked in the legal collections field for many many years prior to having my son. I understand how things work. It makes me sick to hear about someone asking for money to "save their home" What about working and paying your monthly payments? Believe me honey... foreclosure doesn't just "happen" many events LEAD up to it. Namely, not making your monthly payments as you agreed to. Another thing.. Mr. Diamond is on a LAND CONTRACT. He never owned anything, and wouldn't have unless he MADE HIS PAYMENTS. The collection laws in Wisconsin are very specific. More likely, Mr. Diamond is about to lose his house because of eviction, and he feels if he can come up with the money to buy it, the owners will sell and he won't have to get a bank note. Did you do the math??? Mr. Diamond stated that he needed to "sell" 30,000 shirts at $15.00 "donation"...what does that equal? Mr. Diamond is only trying to raise $250k. I believe he is hosing you.....donate away.....

4. How sad we are in America that when someone asks for help - that we start accusing and abusing them. He has a job - maybe not a typical job, but he is working. He made a poor choice on how he got the house and now it has come back to bite him in the butt. Bad things do happen to good people some time. It happens to all of us, who is able to come up with $250,000 in a month to pay this "jerk off". From another interview he has "very briefly" explained that he also lost his child this year and had to spend over $100,000 in medical costs - because like most Americans today he couldn't afford heath insurance. So if you don't want to help then don't - but shut up already and stop complaining - do you know how hard it is to BEG for money? If I could help someone for $15.00 (a trip to McDonalds) then why not!!!
