It seems counter intuitive, to listen to radio through your television, but it's getting an increasingly popular trend. As a result, Virgin Radio will be extending its two digital radio stations, Virgin Radio Classic Rock and Xtreme, onto the UK's Telewest digital TV platform. The move will boost their reach by an additional 1.2 million subscribers.Expect to see Virgin Radio Classic Rock on channel 950, and Xtreme on channel 951. The first Rajar figures will be posted in February.
