Oprah gave away a boatload of Video iPods (and Crackberrys, but who cares about that) to an audience full of Katrina relief workers on her "My Favorite Things" episode of her show. The show was dedicated to the Hurricane Katrina relief workers who had no clue they were on her Favorite Things show. They also received a bunch of other stuff like UGG boots, cashmire sweaters, cookie dough, and some other stuff we really don't care about.TUAW somewhat agrees with Oprah on this one, but has some other suggestions that might just one up the billionaire.
1. This is a really nice effort taken by some of these shows for a good cause. Keep it up!
