Ambient Matyk, a collective of ambient/electronica musicians, has released a new podcast containing ambient loops for your chillout pleasure. The 17 minute podcast is a combination of live and improvised shortwave tuning, bass guitar and real-time mixing done on Mark Rushton's laptop while Jon Harnish played the bass. Mark Rushton is the main organizer of this venture.Russia's Very Low Frequency Station was recorded on October 15th, and is part of a monthly gathering in which these podcasts are recorded for later editing before publishing.

1. I have listened to Mark's podcasts for a few months. This is the best one yet. I like the idea that this is done live and unedited. The bass work is very innovative and transic. The stuff these guys are doing live has many different feelings and I listen to it while I do abstract sculpture. The piece I created while listeneing to this podcast is a combo of clay and radio materials influenced directly by the sound. Great way to work. Hope these guys keep it coming.
