There's no doubt that Big Music has caught the Podcast Bug, but their implementation is for the most part, pretty lame. Take a couple snippets from a couple songs, mix em together with Ryan Seacrest at the helm, and tada you've got a Podcast. Unfortunately that doesn't give us as listeners the in-depth experience that podcasting allows for.Liz Phair on the otherhand, gets it. While she's been on her latest tour, she been recording a bunch of songs live each week for her podcast. Not only that, but she sits down for a bit and blabs about it. She's giving that one-on-one personal experience to her fans. Reinforcing her fanbase, rather than regurgitating to it. Well done. Liz Phair reportedly is "loosely" planning to have a new podcast for y'all to listen to every Friday.
