Yahoo! has stepped into the podcasting foray full force with the launch of Yahoo! Podcasts (beta -- of course). Using a mix of a podcast directory with their podcast search service, Yahoo! Podcast is taking Odeo and Apple iTunes head on.
It's a slick implementation, and I like how they don't shove Yahoo! down your throat (though there are still the expected plugs for other Yahoo! services, and that's ok). Subscribing is a piece of cake, and opened to iTunes immediately. And an initial review of the submission process looks very simple and easy. So far, I dig it.
