Chalk this up into the "news to me category." Audiolicious is a neat lil' program that lets you turn any RSS feed into a podcast. Initially when I read this, I had a little conversation with myself "Ryan," I said to me, "this is just adding enclosures to RSS feeds, and that's not really a big deal!" I replied back with vigor.Ah, but this isn't that at all my small minded friend. Audiolicious actually uses text-to-speech to convert the RSS feed's content into MP3 files. Therefore making any RSS feed into a Podcast! It's a screen reader, with a twist. And while most podcasts are boring, this could make them really boring. It all depends.
Still, this is a very innovative tool, especially when you consider reading your del.icio.us bookmarks with it.

1. That is much the same as talkr.com. The reader convert to mp3 and creates the podcast of the text. I am feeding a chanel cityview via Talkr.com as a test of the system at odeo.com. Talkr.com checks for new posts then feeds odeo.com my blog entries. As of now I have yet to get a download or comment to andy of the podcasts.
