XM RoadyXT and Audiovox Xpress unveiled

Droxy just got back from a Press Preview of XM Satellite Radio's offerings for the upcoming Holiday Season. The event is appropriately named "XMas in August" (get it? get it?) and it's an opportunity for VIP people (that would be us) to see all the yummy goodness that XM will be offering.

After the jump are some shots of the event including the new gorgeous RoadXT set to come out in September as well as the Audiovox XM Xpress. These are both the stars of the show, with the RoadyXT being the smallest satellite radio unit ever, and the Audiovox Xpress just being damn cool.

Even cooler? Both will be available in September for under 100-clams. Niiiice. But enough of this palaber, check out the pics after the jump.

RoadyXT:

Backlit display can be changed to multiple colors (Oooo.. "Orchid") and is much brighter, and has more contrast than the previous generation Roady.

Check out how tiny this thing is next to a quarter. It has a customizable display allowing for a sports ticker that displays the latest scores, and a stock ticker with up to 20 stocks.

Oh yeah, the Roady2 was a tiny unit, but this new RoadyXT is incredible. Weighing only 2.8 ounces, and measuring 3.7" x 2.2" and a ridiculously thin 0.61" deep. Daaaamn! She's also got a built-in FM transmitter with up to 100 broadcast frequencies so you can bump XM in any radio.

Audiovox Xpress Radio:

Yes, it has a five-line display (nice!). This is actually the smallest unit to ever have a five-line display, and that's a damn good thing.

Not as thin as the RoadyXT, but it's a great unit. It also has a built-in transmitter broadcast up to 100 FM frequencies to other radios. Also with it's own stock and sports ticker, and includes the much loved "TuneSelect" and "Artist Select" features which will alert you when you favorite songs are playing on other stations.
