Hey now! This is the uber-debatable question: will Howard Stern really make the effect on Satellite Radio as Sirius, Mel Karmazin and the hoards of SIRI investors say he will? Well, there's such a debate over this that a survey must be done to find out the answer.Bridge Ratings sat down and surveyed radio listeners in the markets that Howard broadcasts in, and ask them if they'd stick with the station he's on, move on the different stations or follow Stern to Sirius when he makes the jump in 2006.
The result is pretty interesting. 41% will move on , 23% will follow Stern and a measly 5% will actually sit a listen to the dopes who hope to follow in his footsteps. Crazy.
1. I bought my Sirius radio a month ago - specifically selecting Sirius because of Stern.
